One of the main EUNIS activity is its Annual Congress. The next EUNIS Congress will take place on 10-12 June 2020 in Helsinki, Finland. This event is always very well attended, by up to 300 delegates from more than 30 countries. Before each congress EUNIS organises a day of workshops, seminars and tutorials which many delegates attend.

Every two years EUNIS organises the Rectors’ Conference, which is attended by 100+ Presidents, Vice-Presidents, Provosts, Vice‑Chancellors and Rectors from many HE institutions across Europe and beyond. In November 2003 and March 2006 very successful seminars were held in Paris to discuss high-level IT strategic issues. From 2012 onwards a EUNIS Rectors’ Conference was brand-named, the first in Prague, in May 2012, the next in Helsinki and Espoo, in April 2014, followed by the Rectors’ Conference in Krakow, in April 2016 and 2018 Rectors’ Conference in Porto, Portugal on 26-28 April 2018. The 2020 Conference planned to Malaga, Spain on 22-24 April 2020 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

EUNIS has organised several other events in recent years, mainly workshops and webinars in relation with the EUNIS Special Interest Groups and Task Forces. See more information in the events section for the details. Other EUNIS activities include an annual Award for Excellence, surveys and publications. Visit the EUNIS web site for more information and subscribe to the EUNIS newsletter.
