Getting Around

Airport

Prague International Airport handles the flights of most European carriers and also overseas flights. It is located 30-45 minutes from the centre of Prague. There is a good connection between the Airport and the city centre by public transport buses and taxis.

You can easily get to the city centre using one of the public buses. For the quickest transport to the city centre or the nearest metro station we advise using routes 119, 254, 179, 225 and 100.

How to reach the meeting venue from the airport

No.119 and 254 (Airport -> Metro A Dejvicka, every 5 to 20 minutes, travel time 25min), from metro station Dejvicka (green line) you can take a metro to station Malostranska, there you change to tram No 22, 12 or 20 and go 1 stop to station Malostranske namesti which is nearby the conference venue - Malostransky Palace

Unfortunately, there is no subway or train connection to the city from the airport. You need to buy a ticket beforehand. Tickets are sold at ticket machines or at newsagents in the arrival hall (if arriving late and all shops are closed, you can buy a ticket from the bus driver, but large banknotes are not accepted). Tickets cost just CZK 32. A CZK 32 ticket for public transport is a transferable ticket allowing you to travel for a 90-minute period. If you are carrying any large pieces of luggage, i.e., a backpack or suitcase, you will need to purchase an additional 1/2 price ticket.

Transport from Ruzyně Airport by taxi takes about 30-45 min. (19,5 km / 12 miles).
