EUNIS 2020 RECTOR’S CONFERENCE

Session IV: Open Science, open data, fair principles!

The debate about whether science should be “open” or not, does not longer makes sense. What should be done now is to assume that it must be so and analyze how this goal can be achieved. The use of “open data” methodologies and tools will facilitate this path. Another pressing need, in this globalized world, is to facilitate “interoperability” between institutions in order to automatically share data that can contribute to advanced management and to facilitate the mobility of our students.
