Welcome to the launch of BM2016

EUNIS BencHEIT Task Force invites you to join the next round of benchmarking launch session on:

Friday, 22nd January 2016, 2 pm UTC (duration approx. 1 hour) (calculate the time in your country)

The video meeting is a great opportunity to hear the latest news and get important information about the benchmarking tools and process. You will also have the chance to ask questions, and get valuable tips from other benchmarking professionals!

  • BencHEIT, what is it and why it is important? Kurt Gammelgaard Nielsen, University of Southern Denmark
  • First timer’s insight to the process. What did I learn about my organization and how did I use the results? Yiannis Salmatzidis, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
  • Comparison of my organization against others. Useful tips. Ole Langfeldt, Norwegian University of Science and Technology
  • The BM timetable, working space. What can you expect from the BM project group? Yvonne Kivi, University of Helsinki
  • Excel sheets and how to use them. Teemu Seesto, Network of Finnish Universities’ Chief IT Officers

The session will be a video meeting over Skype. It is to be recorded, so it can also be watched later.

EUNIS workshop on Higher Education IT benchmarking: Nov 13, Barcelona

2015 Workshop on Higher Education IT benchmarking, organised by the EUNIS BencHEIT Task Force: the 13th of November 2015, at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona.

The workshop will be an opportunity for networking, discussion and sharing experiences. BencHEIT is the first initiative that aims at creating a survey that can be meaningful and useful in the whole European higher education sector. In order to reach the important goal of building up a tool to allow the comparison of costs and strategies related to IT activities among different European countries, Bencheit needs your contribution and expertise.

EUNIS pre-Congress E-Learning TF Workshop: 9th June 2015, Abertay University

Electronic Management of Assessment and Assessment Analytics

EUNIS E-Learning Task Force Workshop will be held at the Abertay University, Dundee (Scotland) on 9th of June 2015, 10.00-16.00.

The workshop will explore how technology can be used to enhance assessment and feedback activities and streamline associated administration and how we might make use of assessment data to improve learning. Across Europe universites are struggling with similar issues of bringing assessment and feedback practice up to date and meeting student and staff expectations.
