EUNIS Rectors’23 Conference is cancelled

We regret to announce that the EUNIS Board and the University of Bergen have decided to cancel the EUNIS Rectors Conference, planned for 10—12 May 2023, in Bergen, Norway.

Our sector, and especially university Rectors and Board members, are currently very much focused on responding to geo-political and economic developments, inevitably limiting their opportunity to attend events like the Rectors’ Conference. This realization has led to decision to cancel the EUNIS Rectors’ Conference 2023.

We have had a lot of interest in, and feedback on, the event. We hope that providing alternatives in terms of timing and format will better meet the needs of the intended audience this year.

We will offer an enhanced strategic strand at our annual Congress in Vigo (14-16 June) and also provide several forthcoming leadership events with partners.

We hope to see you again soon!

The registration is open for the EUNIS Rectors’ Conference: 10-12 May, Bergen, Norway

We are delighted to invite Rectors and CIOs to attend the EUNIS 2023 Rectors’ Conference, which will be held on May 10-12 at the University of Bergen, Norway. The registration is now open!

This event brings together Rectors and CIOs with the aim of fostering strategic reflection on the main challenges of digital transformation.

The Conference programme will showcase many examples of digital transformation, and the speakers and panel discussions will reflect upon the main challenges and opportunities.

EUNIS Rectors’ Conference 2020: cancelled!

Due to the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 alert, and following most European countries’ policy on preventing COVID-19 spread, we have decided to cancel the EUNIS 2020 Rectors’ Conference scheduled for April 2020 at the University of Malaga, Spain.

We are considering to postpone the event to the next academic year, however the final decision will depend on the development of the epidemiological situation.

The procedure of returning the registration fee is put in place now. We are very sorry for any inconvenience and hope you empathize with this unusual situation.

EUNIS Rectors’ Conference: register early

We invite Rectors, Presidents, Vice Presidents, Provosts, Chancellors, Vice Chancellors and their CIOs from all over the world to attend the EUNIS 2020 Rectors’ Conference and to share their experiences! The Conference entitled Leading the digital transformation success will be held on 22-24 April, 2020 at the University of Malaga, Spain.

The Covid-19 situation has been considered in agreement with the local organizers, taking into account the following considerations:
  •     no guests expected from regions with Covid-19 related travel warnings
  •     no policy at host institution to cancel events
  •     limited size of the event (below 150 participants).

We concluded that we go ahead with the Conference and the early bird registration is extended till 23rd of March. Please note, a special discount is offered for more than one attendee from the same institution. Read more here.
