Cloud management insight

GÉANT and EUNIS have teamed-up for a series of workshop exchanges on Cloud Management issues. The second joint online workshop was held on 1 April 2022.

It included topics such as GDPR, Schrems, Data classification, Security. Find out the outputs from the workshop here.

The meeting was dedicated to the members of the EUNIS Cloud Community Group & GÉANT Cloud Team.

The aim of this online workshops is to bring together our mutual communities of users, experts, and policy makers in higher education and research institutions, by exchanging knowledge, questions and experience, by addressing benefits and challenges from organisational, technical and managerial perspective.

#EUNIS22 Congress Awards

The 2022-1 issue of the European Journal of Higher Education IT consists of a selection of the full papers from the EUNIS 2022 Congress.

A total of 45 papers were submitted to the congress, 20 of which are published here.
In this issue there are a variety of themes covering topic of Research Management, Enterprise Architecture & Business Capability, Governance, Data Driving Improvement, Business Intelligence, Interoperability & Standards, International Student Mobility, Cloud, Digital & Hybrid Learning.

Meet the new EUNIS Board of Directors 2022/2023!

The EUNIS 2022 General Assembly was held on the 2nd of June 2022 at the EUNIS22 Congress at the University of Goettingen, Germany. The representatives of European Higher Education and Research institutions (regular members) elected the candidates to the EUNIS Board of Directors.

The Board Officers for 2022/2023 in the EUNIS Board are:

  • Raimund Vogl (President)
  • Carmen Diaz (Vice-President)
  • Freddy Barstad (Vice-President)
  • Tomasz Szmuc (Vice-President)
  • Yiannis Salmatzidis (Treasurer)
  • Nina Reignier-Tayar (Secretary)

Candidates to the EUNIS Board of Directors 2022

The EUNIS 2022 General Assembly will be held on the 2nd of June 2022 at the EUNIS22 Congress at the University of Goettingen, Germany.

In June 2022 the service of the following Board Members will come to the end, and thus they apply for re-election:

  • Mr. Freddy Barstad, NTNU in Trondheim, Norway – applies for re-election
  • Mr. Thierry Koscielniak, CSIESR, France (Vice-Secretary in EUNIS) – applies for re-election
  • Mr. Mauritz Danielsson, Ladok, Sweden – doesn’t apply for re-election
  • Ms. Outi Tasala, CSC, Finland – doesn’t apply for re-election

A new candidate to the EUNIS Board is:

All EUNIS Members are entitled to take part in the GA meeting. The representatives of European Higher Education and Research institutions (regular members) having paid their annual fee are entitled to take part in the voting and elections to the Board.
