EUNIS Rectors’23 Conference is cancelled

We regret to announce that the EUNIS Board and the University of Bergen have decided to cancel the EUNIS Rectors Conference, planned for 10—12 May 2023, in Bergen, Norway.

Our sector, and especially university Rectors and Board members, are currently very much focused on responding to geo-political and economic developments, inevitably limiting their opportunity to attend events like the Rectors’ Conference. This realization has led to decision to cancel the EUNIS Rectors’ Conference 2023.

We have had a lot of interest in, and feedback on, the event. We hope that providing alternatives in terms of timing and format will better meet the needs of the intended audience this year.

We will offer an enhanced strategic strand at our annual Congress in Vigo (14-16 June) and also provide several forthcoming leadership events with partners.

We hope to see you again soon!

#EUNIS23 Annual Congress: call for submissions extended till 6 March

Due to many requests from the EUNIS community, the call for submissions for the EUNIS 2023 Congress is now extended  till 6 March! 

NEW: this year we are accepting proposals for a wide range of session types. As well as oral presentations, you can propose to organise a panel discussion, birds-of-a-feather session, hands-on demonstration. The choice is yours!

#EUNIS23 Congress is an ideal forum to present and publish the latest results of research and good practice. Submissions  are invited under the main tracks:

  • Leadership & Management
  • Information systems design, development and deployment
  • Learning, teaching and research.

You may apply for EUNIS Annual Congress Awards and publication in the EPiC Series in Computing (indexed by Scopus). Read more details here.

#EUNIS23 provides a unique opportunity to exchange perspectives and experiences in relation to the digital transformation of European Universities.

As always, pre-Congress workshop are scheduled the day before ie. 13 June – take it into account when planning your travel.

An exciting social programme is being planned in the city of Vigo and its surroundings! 2023 is also the 30th anniversary of EUNIS so expect some special celebrations!

ISE'23

ISE 2023 Education Technology Summit: 1 Feb, Barcelona

Once again we are partnering with Avixa to put on a fantastic programme of events at ISE in Barcelona (31 Jan – 3 Feb).

The main event is our Education Technology Summit on 1 February. Find out more about the programme here.

The registration is open for the EUNIS Rectors’ Conference: 10-12 May, Bergen, Norway

We are delighted to invite Rectors and CIOs to attend the EUNIS 2023 Rectors’ Conference, which will be held on May 10-12 at the University of Bergen, Norway. The registration is now open!

This event brings together Rectors and CIOs with the aim of fostering strategic reflection on the main challenges of digital transformation.

The Conference programme will showcase many examples of digital transformation, and the speakers and panel discussions will reflect upon the main challenges and opportunities.
