EUNIS Business Intelligence seminar: 3-4 February, U. of Ghent, Belgium

EUNIS BI Special Interest Group invites you for seminar Make data smart – a road map to the next level that will be held the University of Ghent, Belgium on 3-4 February 2020. Read the preliminary agenda and register here by 20 January 2020.

The overall goal of the Business Intelligence Special Interest Group at EUNIS is to act as a network of practitioners and researchers within the field of BI and analytics in European universities and Higher Education Institutions.

The network aims to promote a cooperative knowledge sharing environment for the development of innovative applications (e.g. predictive analytics or decision support, across all HE subject categories), and the exchange of ideas and experiences on BI in HE institutions such as success factors, technology and software. Finally, there is an intention to foster future BI and analytics projects joining institutions across Europe. Read more on the BI SIG activity here.

Register now for the EUNIS Information Security workshop: 27-28 Jan, Malaga, Spain

The EUNIS Information Security Group (Info Sec) is pleased to invite you to a workshop addressing various security and privacy issues, such as warning systems, incident response, vulnerability checks, information security training, risk management, GDPR in HEI, and more.

The workshop, with presenters from Norway, Spain, Germany, Netherlands and Portugal will be held at University of Malaga, Spain on 27-28 January 2020. It is targeted at CIOs, CISOs, Security and Privacy experts as well as policy makers.

In short presentations services and approaches to security and privacy issues will be presented, expertise and experience will be shared. If you are interested in SIM3, or want to know how to prevent your PCs being hacked, how local and national institutions collaborate on emergency response systems, this workshop is for you!

HE conference at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), 11 Feb 2020, Amsterdam

EUNIS is once again partnering with Avixa and SCHOMS at ISEEUNIS members can have free passes for both the ISE show and the HE conference.
