Call for abstracts for the EUNIS 2020 Congress extended till 2 March

We have extended the call for abstracts for EUNIS 2020 Congress until 2 March 2020. Please send your submission as soon as possible via the presentation portal and find more information on the process here.

The Congress presents an opportunity for sharing experiences amongst international specialists, users, researchers, decision-makers, and teaching staff from all over Europe. The event provides an ideal audience to present and publish the latest results of research, development, and deployment of Information Technology in HEIs.

Conference tracks include e.g. the digitalization of learning and teaching, ICT in research, software development as well as leadership and management. Detailed information on the tracks is available here.

The Congress will be held on 10–12 June 2020 and the pre-Congress workshops organized by the EUNIS Task Force and Special Interest Groups are held the day before on 9 June. The registration will open soon.

HE conference at ISE, 11 Feb: get your code for free registration!

EUNIS is again partnering with Avixa and SCHOMS at ISE. EUNIS members can have free passes for both the ISE show and the HE conference.

This year’s Higher Education AV Conference will explore the breadth of AV’s impact on education. Attendees will gain insight from different perspectives on how to best enhance an interactive learning and teaching experience through effective use of AV technologies.

You’ll hear from speakers from top universities and get a student’s take on what makes a great learning experience. See the full programme here. The HE conference, as a part of ISE event, is held on 11 February 2020 in Amsterdam.

Freddy Barstad honoured by the city of Trondheim for EUNIS 2019 Congress!

Freddy Barstad from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim and the member of the EUNIS Board, has just been distinguished by the Mayor of Trondheim as one of the top three nominees for the “Door Opener of the Year 2019” award.

This distinction is awarded to individuals who contribute to the national and international renown of the city of Trondheim.

The nomination of Freddy Barstad as the Chair of the EUNIS 2019 Congress is a recognition of the outstanding work done by Freddy and his colleagues, especially Dr Gabrielle Hansen, chair of the Program Committee, in the organization and running of this prestigious event.

EUNIS Rectors’ Conference 2020: 22-24 April, U. of Malaga, Spain

A reminder that the registration is open for the EUNIS 2020 Rectors’ Conference entitled Leading the digital transformation success that will be held on 22-24 April, 2020 at the University of Malaga, Spain. We invite Rectors, Presidents, Vice Presidents, Provosts and Vice Chancellors from all over the world to attend the Conference and to share their experiences!

The Conference aims to foster strategic reflection on the main challenges of digital transformation. The themes of the Rectors’ Conference include:
