Registration for the #EUNIS21 Virtual Congress and the pre-Congress workshops is now open!

Registration is now open for the #EUNIS21 Annual Congress, that will be held on 9 – 11 June 2021 in Virtual Athens hosted by the Greek Universities Network, and for the EUNIS pre-Congress workshops  1 – 4 June. Due to the Covid-19 the pandemic, the Congress will be 100% virtual.

The Congress and the pre-Congress workshops, under the theme A New Era of Digital Transformation: Challenges for Higher Education, provide an opportunity for sharing of experience amongst international specialists, users, researchers, decision-makers, and teaching staff from all over Europe and beyond. The European University Association (EUA) and the European University Information Systems (EUNIS) are partnering for the first time to organise this webinar on information security strategies for higher education institutions. The event will be held online on 6 May 2021 at 14.00-15.00 CEST.

The webinar is free of charge and open to everyone interested in attending.

It will cover topics such as cybersecurity, governance and online presence, followed by
an interactive Q&A session.

Apply for the #EUNIS21 Congress Awards!

Do you plan to submit a paper for the #EUNIS21 Congress in Virtual Athens? Then note you may apply for the  EUNIS awards!

The call for entries is now open for the following awards:

  • EUNIS Elite Award – for excellence at an institution/consortium/national level
  • EUNIS Dørup Award – for outstanding and innovative use of IT in learning and teaching
  • EUNIS Award for AV enabled learning space – our international award for innovative use of AV technology
  • EUNIS Best Paper Award – selected from papers submitted for the annual Congress.

How to enter:

Entries for all awards follow the submission procedure for the Annual Congress. More information on this here.

Deadline:
The deadline for entries for all of the awards is 15 March 2021.

#EUNIS21 Congress call for papers: deadline extended till 15 March!

Due to many requests, we have received from the EUNIS community, we decided to extend the call for papers for the #EUNIS21 Congress till the 15th of March!

2021 Annual Congress, with the theme A New Era of Digital Transformation: Challenges for Higher Education, will be held on 9 – 11 June 2021 in (Virtual) Athens, hosted by the Greek Universities Network.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all presentations at the EUNIS 2021 Congress will be given virtually.

The Congress presents an opportunity for sharing of experience amongst international specialists, users, researchers, decision-makers, and teaching staff from all over Europe. The event provides an ideal audience to present and publish the latest results of research, development, and deployment of Information Technology in HEIs.
Submissions are invited under one of the 7 tracks below:
  • Leadership & Management
  • ICT Infrastructure & Security
  • Learning, Teaching and Student Experience
  • Software Development
  • OpenX & Interoperability
  • ICT in Research
  • Covid-19 as an accelerator for digital transformation

Extended abstracts and (optionally) full papers are requested to be uploaded to the #EUNIS21 Congress Easy Chair system for reviewing. You may also apply for EUNIS Congress awards.
