EUNIS 2017: Call for papers deadline extension till 19th March 2017

The EUNIS 2017 Congress will take place on 7- 9 June 2017 at the University of Münster (Germany). We infrom that the deadline for submissions is extended till Sunday 19th of March 2017.

The Congress presents an opportunity for sharing of experience amongst international specialists, users, researchers, decision-makers, and teaching staff from all over Europe. The event provides an ideal audience to present and publish the latest results of research, development, and deployment of Information Technology in HEIs. Submissions are invited under one of the six tracks below:

  • Leadership & Management
  • ICT Infrastructure & Security
  • Learning, Teaching and Student Experience
  • Software Development
  • OpenX & Interoperability
  • New Ideas & Innovative Concepts

The submission may contain an extended abstract only with approx. 1,500 words (2 pages). A full paper submission (up to 10 pages) is optional but if the author/s wish to apply for any of the awards a full paper must be submitted. All submitted papers/abstracts will go through a reviewing processes carried out by the Scientific Committee (at least two reviewers for each paper/abstract). All accepted abstracts from all tracks and the submitted full papers will be published in the Congress Proceedings.

Call for the EUNIS 2017 Dørup E-learning Award

The deadline for entries for this year’s award is 17th March. The award is given for outstanding and innovative application of information technology (IT) in an educational setting. Find out more about the judging criteria and the application process here.
Entry is open to all EUNIS members so if you or any of your colleagues have an innovation you are particularly proud of then tell us about it and submit your paper here.

Registration for EUNIS 2017 is now open! Register early for the reduced fee and save  €100. Early bird offer ends April 30, 2017. To book your place please visit the Congress website.

  • Early Bird (by April 30, 2017), EUNIS Member: €450,  EUNIS non-Member: €550
  • Standard, EUNIS Member: €550, EUNIS non-Member: €650
  • Late registration (after May 31, 2017): €700

The fee includes participation in the entire Congress (7-9 June 2017), the social events,  a shuttle service to Düsseldorf Airport, a public transport ticket for the duration of the event and all Congress materials.

EUNIS (European University Information Systems organisation) is happy to announce a call for papers for its 2017 Annual Congress which has the theme “EUNIS 2017 – Shaping the Digital Future of Universities”. The EUNIS 2017 Congress will take place on 7- 9 June 2017 at the University of Münster (Germany).

This Congress presents an opportunity for sharing of experience amongst international specialists, users, researchers, decision-makers, and teaching staff from all over Europe. The event provides an ideal audience to present and publish the latest results of research, development, and deployment of Information Technology in HEIs. Submissions are invited under one of the six tracks below:

Submissions can be one of the following types:

  • Scientific – presentation of research work and results in a paper session. Submission consists of an extended abstract and an optional full paper.
  • Technological – presentation covering technological aspects of the use of IT/IS in HEIs. Submission consists of an extended abstract.
  • Good Practice – examples of successive applications and deployments of IT/IS solutions in HEIs. Submission consists of an extended abstract.
  • Poster – compact presentation of scientific/technological topics or practical experiences focusing IT/IS solutions in HEIs. Submission consists of an extended abstract and optionally the final poster (in PDF form).
