Full details of the Elite Award competition are on the web at http://www.eunis.org eLearning Task Force The Task Force is running an eLearning Snapshots project for EUNIS. A co-ordinating team of Bas Cordewener, Jens Dørup and Andrew Rothery is conducting a web-based survey to gather information about the way eLearning is organised and supported in institutions. They wrote to EUNIS members in November 2005 inviting them to take part, and received a reasonably good response. But they would like more participation and, if you haven’t already completed your form, they ask you to consider taking a few minutes to fill in the questionnaire on the web at http://www.video.au.dk/cf/snapshot.cfm. You might like to ask colleagues working in appropriate areas to take part too. The co-ordinators plan to meet shortly to analyse the returns and prepare a report. They intend to present their findings at the EUNIS2006 Conference in June and will share the results with contributors to the survey and EUNIS members. EUNIS Rectors Seminar,
We
thank Yves Epelboin, a former President of EUNIS, for arranging another
excellent Rectors Seminar in
The theme of the Seminar was Impact of the Bologna Process
on Information Technology in European Universities. In a densely packed 24 hours we
heard presentations from an impressive team of 8 leading speakers from
Very positive feedback indicates the EUNIS Rectors Seminars are well received and we have been encouraged by many attendees to arrange more such events at regular intervals in the future. EUNIS is extremely grateful to SAP, SUN Microsystems, SUNGARD SCT Higher Education and WebCT (a BlackBoard company) for their generous support. The Seminar would not have taken place without it. A record of the Rectors Seminar will appear on the EUNIS website soon, including presenters slides and a video recording. Please check http://www.eunis.org for an update.
