EUNIS 2008 will be held in Aahrus, Denmark, June 24th-29th in memoriam of Jens Doerup.

Organization
EUNIS organizes a congress each year since 1995. The first one was organized in Düsseldorf (Germany) in November 1995, the second one in Manchester (United Kingdom) in 1996.They consist in:
- plenary sessions with invited speakers who are top specialists in all fields of interest in EUNIS activitiesparallel sessions in specialized topics with both invited and submitted papers.
- poster
All submitted papers are reviewed by a scientific committee made of EUNIS representatives and top leaders from all countries. Accepted authors are requested to write a paper which is distributed to all participants during the congress. Some of these papers are available on the Web. Starting in 2001 some papers are published in specialized issues of scientific journals.A commercial exhibition allows companies to present the latest hardware and software to participants coming from more than 25 different countries.
Eunis, as an Association, gives full reponsibility to the local organizers and supervises the local organization committee.
EUNIS Elite Award of excellence
EUNIS is pleased to invite submissions for the EUNIS Elite Award of excellence which is awarded each year during the annual EUNIS Congress.
