Creating Digital Success MOOC camp 2016

MOOC Camp 2016 Creating Digital Success will be held on 21-23 November 2016 at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Rolex Learning Center), Switzerland. The EPFL MOOC camp prepares for all aspects of MOOC implementation: strategy, course development and technical construction. It gives the basic tools necessary to develop MOOCs. It is dedicated to executives, course developers, teachers and technical specialists that are responsible for MOOC strategy, MOOC development or the technical infrastructure for MOOC production.

EUNIS Congress – call for proposals now open!

The successful EUNIS 2016 Congress in Thessaloniki is now behind us. The Congress is always a place where many inspiring ideas are shared and challenging projects presented, where new partnerships are formed and new initiatives launched.

We are now working on the next EUNIS 2017 Congress (7-9 June, 2017) in Münster, Germany and you can already find some information on the official website, so please have a look!

We now want to start planning the Congresses for the years ahead, so to be able to give our Community the best experience possible. Therefore, the EUNIS Board of Directors opens a call for the next Congresses submissions for the years 2018, 2019, 2020. More information on the bidding process is available here. If your institution is interested in hosting the following years Congress, please do not hesitate to send your bid to: till 3rd of October 2016.

This year it will be held on Thursday the 8th of December 2016, at NTNU – Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim ( The final agenda, registration and more information about the workshop will be available in a few weeks.

Are you participating in any benchmarking project in your country or institution? Do you know any interesting initiative you would like to talk about during the event? We would appreciate to hear your thoughts and discuss how we can collaborate together to integrate different projects and work at the European level!

Elections to the EUNIS Board of Directors 2016

Dear EUNIS Members,

We would like to remind you that the EUNIS 2016 General Assembly will take place on June 9th, 2016 during the EUNIS Congress in Thessaloniki. As an official EUNIS Member you are entitled to take part in this important meeting. We would greatly appreciate your attendance and feedback.The agenda is:1. Welcome and registration of representatives (President of EUNIS)
2. Approval of the minutes from the 2015 GA meeting in Dundee (Executive Secretary of EUNIS)
3. Approval of new members since the last GA (Executive Secretary of EUNIS)
4. Reports and future activities (Task Force Leaders)
5. Special report about a financial issue (President/Treasurer of EUNIS)
6. Financial report and budget (Treasurer of EUNIS)
7. Election of scrutinizers for the election of Board members (Executive Secretary of EUNIS)
8. Election of Board members (Executive Secretary of EUNIS)
9. Any other Business (President of EUNIS)
The following candidates have applied to be members of the EUNIS Board:

In the past few months the two candidates listed below were co-opted to the EUNIS Board to replace two vacancies that had arisen from resignations from the Board. The General Assembly needs to approve and confirm (or reject) their candidatures as outlined in the EUNIS statutes. These Board members are:
